Therapist Handbook The Therapist Handbook provides rationales and explicit, step-by-step instructions for teaching the stuttering modification and fluency-enhancing strategies. It presents a clearly defined progression of methods that ultimately integrates these skills into a unified, flexible, and effective speech modification. Instructional DVD The Instructional DVD includes more than 60 video clips. These video demonstrations help therapists learn to use and teach the strategies. The DVD uses an easily-navigable, nested menu format that allows the viewer to select individual videos. Audio CDs The Audio CDs provide recorded descriptions of the rationales and teaching methods for each strategy. They also include spoken models that demonstrate these strategies and their associated practice materials. Given that these recordings directly parallel the workbook pages, they can be used hand-in-hand with the Student Workbook. Specific rationales, methods, and materials are recorded on individual CD tracks in order to facilitate easy access and use. Student Workbook The Student Workbook presents age-appropriate rationales and instructions for each of the strategies. It provides easy-to-understand, detailed directions and materials for practicing each skill. Therapists and students use the workbook together as they move through the therapy process.
